Welcome to Day 17 & to part 2 of the Pre-Spring Reset!!

In case you missed it, yesterday we shared a room-by-room reset guide to refresh your life & space in preparation for a new season. Today we turn inward!

We’ll be focusing on clearing mental and emotional clutter in a way that feels calm and supportive. Consider this a gentle check-in to sort through any lingering thoughts, release a bit of pressure, and create more inner breathing room as we move toward the end of winter!

Notice recurring thoughts

Pay attention to what keeps circling. This may include a decision you’ve been postponing, the conversation you’re replaying, or the small worry that pops up at quiet moments. Seeing it clearly often takes away some of its weight.

What has been on repeat in my mind lately?

Release the mental tabs you keep open
Think of the unfinished tasks or loose ends quietly taking up background energy. Maybe you have a stack of emails to send, things to get done, or plans you’ve been meaning to make. Choose one to close today, or write down when you’ll revisit it so it stops following you around.

You might list:

  • One conversation to have

  • One task to schedule

  • One thing to consciously set aside for now

Write things down to create space

Take a few minutes to empty your thoughts onto paper (plans, reminders, worries, ideas) without organizing or editing. Seeing everything outside your head often brings an immediate sense of relief.

If I could clear my mind onto a page, what would be there right now?

Naming emotions without judgment

Take a quiet moment to notice what’s actually present - whether that’s calm, irritability, overwhelm, or a mix of things that don’t neatly fit into one label. Naming it gently, without trying to fix or explain, often brings a subtle sense of steadiness. It’s simply information about where you are right now.

What am I feeling today, and what might be contributing to it?

Letting go of tension or pressure
